Trash removal Residents in the Village are serviced by NuWay Disposal of Mokena (708/ 479-9555) operating in conjunction with Homewood Disposal. The Village provides collection services to all residential areas of the community on a weekly basis. Additional service can be arranged directly with NuWay. All garbage should be placed at the curb prior to 7:00 a.m. of your collection day. Garbage must be placed in the green garbage carts that you currently rent from Nu Way Disposal. Village stickers are available at the Village Hall, Berkots, and Jewel in New Lenox.
When using the blue 95-gallon yardwaste containers for refuse during the months of December through March, you must attach 3 red garbage stickers to the cart or your garbage will not be picked up.
